Planning a wedding on the computer
Posted by: | Comments
Welcome to 2009! Brides are now planning their weddings more than ever on the internet. In fact, the majority of web traffic to wedding related web sites is heaviest from 9:00am – 5:00 pm Monday – Friday. That means, people are planning their wedding rather than working. Heck, you are probably reading this blog at work right now!
Today, with the internet replacing yellow pages, and even ” word of mouth ” as the primary reference in finding wedding professionals, the personal element is getting lost in the confusion. This generation of brides and grooms e-mail before they pick up a telephone. That can be bad when looking for a DJ. You have to keep the one on one aspect of planning when it comes to your wedding entertainment – unless you want a wedding like everyone else.
As much as the internet can help in finding the right DJ to interview with, you must follow through and interview face to face if possible. The personal element is crucial for a personalized and comfortable fit with your entertainment provider. Make sure you don’t let technology get in the way of meeting your DJ, and getting to know them. Even more important is them getting to know you. It is your wedding!
At Music In Motion, we believe that we must earn your trust before we can earn your business. So…… Next time you have a question, don’t Google it – Pick up the phone and call a real person who can help. You will be glad you did!
The Right Introduction Music Reflects ” You “

Back in the 80′s and even the 90′s it was unheard of for a bride and groom to select music for their introduction into the reception. Djs had their usual favorite and used that wedding after wedding. Some still do.
Well today, it is common for not only the bride and groom to have their own introduction music, but the entire bridal party. Here is a list of some of my favorite music to make that awesome impact and get the party off to a flying start! Remember to select music that reflects your personality.
* Enter Sandman – Metallica
* Welcome To The Jungle – Guns N Roses
* Beautiful Day – U2
* Jump Around – House Of Pain
* Thunderstruck – AC/DC
* Sandstorm – Derude
* This Will Be ( An Everlasting Love ) – Natalie Cole
* Get This Party Started – Pink
* In The Mood – Glenn Miller
